How Bill Burnett's Success Studio collects, uses and shares information when you visit this website or book a session.

This policy explains what information Bill Burnett's Success Studio (“Success Studio”, “we”, “us”) collects through this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Our studios are Success Studio North, 994 Research Park Boulevard, Charlottesville, VA 22911, and Success Studio Ivy Road, 2125 Ivy Road, Suite G1, Charlottesville, VA 22903.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you book a free 1-1 session, our form asks for the studio you choose (North or Ivy), your first name, your last name (optional), your email address and your phone number, and whether you agree to receive text messages. If you call, text or email us, we keep what you tell us.
How you found us. With your request, the form sends the page you booked from, the page you first arrived on, the website that referred you, any campaign details in the link you followed (such as UTM tags and Google or Meta ad-click IDs), and the browser identifiers that Meta’s pixel keeps in cookies named _fbp and _fbc. Your browser keeps a note of how you first arrived for up to 90 days, so a later request can include it.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site and the tools described below collect technical information such as your browser and device type, IP address, the pages you view and the actions you take (for example, sending a form), using cookies, pixels and similar technologies.
How we use it
- To contact you about your free session, schedule it at the studio you chose, and answer your questions.
- To send you text messages, if you agree (see “Text messages” below).
- To understand which pages, ads and campaigns bring people to us, and to improve this website and our advertising.
- To keep our records, protect the site from spam and misuse, and meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our studios and this website, and only for the purposes above:
- GoHighLevel, the customer relationship management (CRM) system where your booking request is stored and from which our team calls, emails or texts you.
- Google: Google Tag Manager, which loads our measurement tools; Google Analytics 4, which shows us how visitors use the site; and Google Ads, which tells us whether an ad led to a booking request and lets us show our ads to people who have visited this site. When you send our form, your email address and phone number are sent to Google in hashed (coded) form so Google can match your request to an ad you saw or clicked.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram): the Meta Pixel, which measures whether our ads led to a visit or a booking request and helps us show our ads to people who may be interested.
- The company that hosts this website, which processes your requests to load its pages and send its forms.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our members, our staff or others.
Cookies and similar technologies
Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel use cookies or similar technologies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can manage ad personalization in Google’s My Ad Center and your Meta ad preferences, and Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics. Third-party vendors, including Google and Meta, use cookies to show our ads on other websites based on your past visits to this site. You can also opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at www.aboutads.info/choices. Video preview images load from YouTube’s image servers when a page with a video opens; the video player itself loads only when you press play.
Text messages
If you tick the text-message box on our booking form, you agree that Bill Burnett's Success Studio may text you at the number you gave about your free session and membership. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text-message opt-in and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. The sharing described in “Who we share it with” does not include text-message opt-in data and consent; they go only to the service providers that send our texts for us.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to respond to you and provide our services, and after that only as long as we need it for our business records or the law requires.
How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No website or online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and ask us to stop contacting you. To stop text messages, reply STOP. For anything else, email us or call either studio (details below). We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request.
Children
This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through it.
Other websites
This site links to websites we do not run, such as Mindbody (class schedules), Google Maps, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
